Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope this note finds you well. Just a quick update to let you know that things are still moving at The Cox Guide. So many projects, so little time! I am getting about 10 emails a day asking when the Down and Dirty Guide to Coaching is going to be ready. Its a big undertaking, but I'm making progress. A new booklet with many of my charts and such will be available this spring. The main book is coming along, but I want it to be just right. Also, I'm still working on a great new CD with more material. We're still taking submissions for audio tapes for the next edition of the CD as well. Stay tuned for more details soon!
I also wanted to alert you to two great websites: All For One and Regatta Northwest. Dominique Derrenger created an amazing documentry/movie about Cal Crew, Ky Ebright, and the amazing Cal crews of 1998 and 1999. This is a must have video for rowing fans. Head over and sign up to be notified of the DVD release coming soon. Mara and company at Regatta Northwest carry the excellent cold weather floatation suits that are a favorite of coaches, coxswains and referees. They are warm, waterproof, will keep you afloat in an emergency, and are darn near bullet proof. They are worth every penny.

Welcome to the new News section! Things are going well over here at the Cox Guide. If you hadn't heard, the Down and Dirty Drill Card is now available for your viewing pleasure. Its got its own happy section, so go check it out. We are also happy to announce that Ed Hewitt over at Row2k.com is now carrying the Cox Guide, OTWA CD, and Drill Card in his online store! You'll also notice that we've launched a new news letter that will come out semi-reguarly with additional announcements, tips, tricks, info, and sale information. You can sign-up below so you never miss another important bit of rowing info.
